Czech extremists support organisers of far-right concerts

The ten supporters of the far-right National Resistance movement face up to eight years in prison for having organised 11 concerts at which Nazism was allegedly promoted.

Police say musicians called on people to chant Nazi slogans during the concerts.

All the suspects half of whom are still in custody plead innocent.

The extremists staged a similar protest in June.

According to website of the National Resistance, policemen deliberately demolished the homes when arresting the suspects, they threatened family members and violated the rules of home searches.

The speakers who addressed the protesters claimed that the investigation is manipulated and that the Czech Republic is turning into a police state.
