Prague - Vratislav Mynar, chairman of the Party of Citizens Rights (SPOZ), will be new Czech President Milos Zeman´s chancellor, Zeman said on Prima Television today, adding that Mynar will logically give up the SPOZ chairmanship.
Zeman´s spokeswoman will be Hana Burianova, who held the post also during the presidential campaign, and diplomat Hynek Kmonicek, current ambassador to Australia, will be foreign policy department head, Zeman said.
Zeman said he may sign Mynar´s appointment next week.
He said he is appointing new aides only to replace those who have voluntarily left the Presidential Office with his predecessor Vaclav Klaus.
Jiri Weigl, Klaus´s chancellor, will probably stay with the Presidental Office for some more time. He has promised to "teach" his successor.
The Castle protocol chief Jindrich Forejt will continued to keep the post.
