CZ-Slovensko employs over 60 people. It plans to reinforce the staff considerably next year.

Ceska zbrojovka has a majority stake in the joint venture, seated in the VOP Military Repairer´s compound, hired by MSM Martin.

VOP ran into financial trouble after a big explosion that devastated its production premises in 2007.

Ceska zbrojovka is one of the biggest Czech arms manufacturers, with the mother company seated in Uhersky Brod, south Moravia.

It also produces sports and hunting weapons in its subsidiary in Brno. It produced 181,000 pieces of weapons and its revenues reached 2.1 billion Czech crowns in 2012.

Earlier this year, Ceska zbrojovka launched weapons parts production in Radom, Poland.

Last year, it launched a daughter company in Brazil.
