Jourova, 49, is now regional development minister in the centre-left coalition government, comprised of the Social Democrats (CSSD), ANO and the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL).
Jourova has not yet formed the team that will accompany her to Brussels.
She said earlier she would go there along with her deputy Daniel Braun.
Jourova is expected to outline her priorities and ideas about her work in the EC to Juncker.
She may also tell him that she is interested in regional development the Czech government would like to gain. In the outgoing European Commission, the portfolio is held by Austria.
In early August, Jourova met Juncker's chief of staff Martin Selmayr.
She said after the meeting she believed that she was standing a high chance of heading regional development in the next European Commission.
At the end of September, Jourova will be grilled by MEPs. If appointed, she will take up the post in early November.
