On Friday, about 100 wheelchair users met in Velehrad, including people from Hungary, and a concert was held in the evening.
Another traditional event is the Velehrad Manuscript project of writing the Bible that started in 2005 and in which 4995 people have participated so far.
Petra Cihalova, from the Velehrad Roman Catholic parish, said more than 80 percent of the manuscript has been already written. She said the hand-written Bible would be finished in five years or even later, however.
